I’m finding it harder and harder to trust dermatologists and the medical community in general anymore. I’ve had late onset adult hormonal acne for two years now and I’ve tried E VERY THING literally everything. I’ve listened to every dermatologist on the internet, gone to a tele-health dermatologist, I’ve tried every active, every ingredient, so so many different brands. Some things would help for a little bit but then it has never gone away. I’m getting married in May and I just can’t imagine my skin looking like this at my wedding. A week ago I ordered beef tallow for my face out of a last ditch desperate move. I’ve been using it for two days and my redness has decreased, my skin doesn’t hurt anymore, and a lot of my texture has even gone down. I’m trying to do research on it now and every “medical” expert seems to not endorse it. Hmmmm so interesting. They all also seem to have brands of their own that they are selling that get more air time than the topic they are discussing ?? I’m done with science, and testing and clinical studies. Give me the most natural gentle thing because that always seems to work better than anything else

I found it terrible. I used it a few times and my legs became all spotted and red. And I get hyperpigmentation too so now i just have brown spots on my legs. I thought I just did it too hard.... I tried everything. Dry, damp, gently, circular motions, literally every combination possible and I was still in pain bc of my sensitive skin. It doesn't even get all of the spots unless your legs are built like rocks.

Even better than head and shoulders is to use Ketoconazole shampoo. Its a medicated shampoo that specifically targets the malasezia (idk how to spell it) yeast and kills it.

Sweat glands can help remove bacteria from the skin, the skin's sebaceous and sweat glands work together in other ways to protect the skin. The sweat glands not only regulate body temperature, they also remove waste.🤨 “Sweat glands secrete antimicrobial peptides, such as dermcidin, which can inhibit the growth of microbes on the skin. Sweat glands also help preserve the skin's acidic composition, which protects the skin from bacteria and other pathogenic organisms.” So the bottom line is, the more you sweat, the more your glands secrete those peptides that protect the skin from bacteria, and this is why the facial steamer is working for a lot of people.

I hate to see this from someone that seems like they should be credible. If you're going to say something like this, you should site a study or two that indicates that a spectrum of light can actually do anything health related. It seems obvious that a sunburn dries out skin which could help acne but an LED? Let me see a well done study. And not just the BS stuff that shows homeopathy is better than placebo.
